BACCARATTHE ART OF NINE
PLAY CHIPS ONLY
THE TABLE COMPANION

A little closer to nine.

This play-chip table follows Commission-Free Baccarat, Rev 05/24/11. Eight standard 52-card decks, no jokers. Each seat begins with 1 000 virtual chips and plays against an unlimited virtual bank. Solo and private two-person rooms use the same server engine. Both friends wager independently on the same community hands and shoe.

Place your wagers

Choose Player, Banker, Tie, or any combination. Tie alone is allowed. Wagers are whole chips, minimum total 1, up to your available bankroll (maximum 1 billion per line). Posted wagers are final. Both friends must post before cards appear. No hit, stand or other decision follows a bet; drawing is automatic. Next hand requires consent from both seats, then new wagers. Each hand uses four to six cards; a new eight-deck shoe is shuffled when fewer than six remain. There is no burn or cut card.

Profit on a winning wager; original stake is also returned

Player1 : 1
Banker1 : 1, except a winning 6 pays 1 : 2

A tie returns Player and Banker wagers, and wins the Tie wager. Other losing wagers are collected. For example, Banker 5 chips winning on 6 profits 2,5 chips. Half-chip balances are retained exactly; wagers still use whole chips. A balance below 1 chip ends further play.

The automatic draw

Cards are face up and dealt Player, Banker, Player, Banker. Aces count 1, numbers their face value, and tens and pictures 10. Only the final digit of a total counts. If either initial hand is 8 or 9, both hands stop. Otherwise Player draws on 0–5 and stands on 6–7. If Player stands, Banker draws on 0–5 and stands on 6–7. If Player draws, use the exact source tableau below. H = hit; S = stand. Tens and pictures have third-card value 0.

BASIC: a fresh-shoe guide

BASIC recommends Player and never places a bet. Under these payouts, expected net per chip is Player −0,0123508133 (−1,2351%), Banker −0,0145810446 (−1,4581%), Tie −0,1435962878 (−14,3596%). The half payout on Banker 6 makes Player the better fresh-shoe choice. Tie has a much larger expected loss. These are exact eight-deck, without-replacement fresh-shoe probabilities: Player wins 44,62466093%, Banker wins 45,85974226%, Tie 9,51559680%, and Banker wins on 6 in 5,38637159% of all deals.

The recommendation is fixed for every hand. It does not count cards or estimate the remaining shoe. Baccarat is a chance game: no wager guarantees a profit, and this guide is not a claim of long-run skill.

Luck & realised wager effect

Luck = actual wager net − predeal expected net for your posted bets. Expected net is Player stake × −0,0123508133 + Banker stake × −0,0145810446 + Tie stake × −0,1435962878. We consistently use the documented fresh-shoe baseline, even later in a shoe; this is not a conditional remaining-shoe estimate.

Skill = actual net − the net from wagering your same total stake on recommended Player, on these exact dealt hands. Following the recommendation exactly gives skill 0. This is a realised comparison, not proof of predictive ability. Each seat tracks settled hands, total net, bankroll, and average luck and skill in chips per hand. The most recent 30 hands are retained; cumulative statistics include every settled hand.

Your private table

Share the invite code or link. Browser-saved seat credentials reconnect you after refresh; keep your browser storage private. Names are labels, not passwords. The code lets a friend claim the one vacant seat, but cannot recover an occupied seat. Rooms expire after seven days without a successful action. Reads do not extend expiry. You may end between hands, or before anyone has posted. There are no deposits, cash-outs, real-money stakes, fees, backline wagers, player-dealer rotation or cover limits. The separate options sheet is excluded.
